This seminar builds on the foundational knowledge from Works Council I and is designed for experienced members. Participants develop advanced skills to handle complex personnel and social matters, draft works agreements, and actively contribute to strategic decision-making within the council.

  • Building on Module 1: Review and reinforcement of the key concepts covered in the first module, ensuring a solid foundation before diving into advanced topics.
  • Formulating Legally Compliant Statements: Learn how to write legally sound statements on personnel measures, particularly focusing on Sections 99 and 102 of the BetrVG.
  • Dealing with Provisional Personnel Measures: Understand how to handle provisional measures in the workplace, such as those covered by Sections 100 and 101 of the BetrVG.
  • Negotiating and Drafting Works Agreements: Gain the skills necessary to formulate and negotiate works agreements, particularly in relation to Sections 77 and 87 of the BetrVG.
  • Co-Determination in Qualification Measures: Deep dive into works council involvement in employee training and qualification, as outlined in Sections 96-98 of the BetrVG.
  • Health & Safety Participation: Learn how the works council plays a crucial role in occupational health and safety, with reference to Sections 80, 87, and 89 of the BetrVG.
