Addictive disorders in the workplace

Addiction in the workplace. The growing demands in the changing world of work harbour many dangers. Pressure, changes and fear of losing one's job not only lead to an increase in mental illnesses, but also to an accumulation of addictive disorders in the workplace. In addition to alcohol consumption, the use of medications such as sleeping pills or concentration- and performance-enhancing substances is also increasing sharply. Harmful consumption or addiction are often only recognised very late, after all, it is hard to imagine social life without alcohol.
